What You'll Do
- Preparing various monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Concord location, including various “bridge analysis”
- Review and investigation of variances during the month, including scrap, material usage, purchase price variances, and direct labor
- Be responsible for the month-end close and journal entries, as well as review, analysis, and reporting for inventory balances
- Coordinate annual standards roll
- Work with the manufacturing team to identify, validate, and report cost reduction opportunities
- Work with the commercial organization as well as the manufacturing team to evaluate customer margins and opportunities for margin expansion
- Prepare capital expenditure requests as necessary for the business
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets, along with other reporting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of experience with a background that includes accounting experience in manufacturing operations or relevant audit experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, able to work with complex spreadsheets, and able to understand and complete complex Excel templates with business historical trends and explanatory information
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident
- Experience with SAP Business One is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in being a strong and collaborative business partner with an organization to help facilitate ongoing improvements.
