What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Fabricator position at Standard Metal Works?
Standard Metal Works; a full service architectural metal fabrication shop in Boulder, Colorado is currently seeking a fabricator with 5 years’ experience, who is able to take a project from shop drawings to completed install, with minimal oversight from management. Necessary skills include; measuring, layout, MIG, TIG, Stick welding, grinding/blending/sanding as aspects of detailed finishing, as well as some patina experience. Attention to detail, and willingness to learn preferred methods is a must. In addition to shop fabrication practices, experience on a jobsite installing railings, stairs, and other architectural elements is crucial. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday. Pay is commensurate with experience, and will be discussed during interview.
