Local CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus

Standard Logistics operates in the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and Western Regions. We offer both flatbed and dry van services with a fleet of over 450 late-model day cab and sleeper tractors. Our trucks are equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure a seamless experience for our drivers and to provide custom solutions for customer’s needs.

We currently have openings for CDL A Flatbed Drivers based out of Myerstown, PA.

• Compensation: $6,000 Sign-On Bonus, hourly pay, overtime paid at time and a half above 40 hours weekly, and safety incentives.
• Schedule: 5 days - usually Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday depending on the customer.
• Start Times: Between 2am and 5am, depending on destination and appointment times.
• Length of Day: 8 - 12 hours daily.
• Local / Home Daily: Flatbed distance varies by customer location. We travel to some local PA and MD, CT and NY. Customer unload.

What you'll do:

• Secure loads utilizing straps, chains, binders and tarps
• Transport roofing materials including but not limited to shingles, rolled roofing, limestone, asphalt, headlap, wood, concrete, metals and other raw materials for residential and commercial roofing.
• Effectively communicate with customers and team, keep equipment clean and presentable
• Complete pre and post-trip inspections, verify paperwork for completeness and accuracy

We require:

• CDL A
• One full year Class A commercial truck and tractor trailer driving experience

Experience:
