PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Endorse and comply with all Standard Heating and Air Conditioning’s Safety policies and initiatives.
- Support and encourages an Employee Owner culture.
- Answer the telephone, direct calls, take and deliver messages in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide support for multiple departments.
- Prepare, process, and distribute administrative documents and forms.
- Data Entry into databases across multiple departments, including the ability to schedule and track jobs bidding progress.
- Accurately order supplies for the office.
- Maintain administrative files in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
- Communicate with General Contractors, Sales Estimators, and Vendors.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external staff, management, customers and vendors.
- Must be able to work independently and without regular supervision.
- Must be able to learn and effectively operate Standard’s computers and software. (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Spectrum and various software/apps)
- Flexible, strives in a versatile and fast paced environment.
- Must have good public relations skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner; develop action plan.
- Skilled in dealing with frequent changes and managing high demands.
- Must be highly accurate, organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
- Must be willing to perform other duties as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Requires the ability to operate telephones, computers, fax machines, copy machines, and other office equipment.
- Be able to operate the computer and use Microsoft software.
- Requires wearing safety equipment if required.
- Requires being able to sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel as needed, and lift up to 50 lbs.
