Job Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible, as directed by the building principal, for maintaining student data, implementing student incentive and intervention programs, and identification and assessment of students in specially funded programs. Through successful implementation of this role, student learning and staff duties may be coordinated and effectively implemented. JOB GOAL: Provide assistance to the principal in creating a climate where administrators, teachers, students, and parents agree on the methods and content of schooling; the mission is clearly communicated; and members of the school community are united in recognizing the importance of a comprehensive curriculum, accurate student data system, student recognition and promoting school pride.
Requirements / Qualifications
The Program Coordinator will meet all credentialing qualifications established by the State of California. The following employment criteria are set forth: 1. A master’s degree; doctorate degree desired. 2. A valid state administrator’s certificate. 3. Professional verification of three to five years of experience in public school education, including at least three years of successful experience as a classroom teacher. 4. Interview/file data will include evidence of sensitivity and respect for others, professional endorsement of exemplary leadership behaviors, and verification of the demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for students and staff. 5. Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the district trustees and the California Department of Education. 6. A satisfactory attendance and work record.
