As a Mechanic Apprentice, you'll repair and overhaul gas turbine engines. You'll also learn to perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and support maintenance processes under the guidance of experienced technicians.
What you'll do:
- Inspect engine modules and engine components.
- Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
- Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions
- Basic understanding of tools, machinery, and mechanical systems
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Desired Skills
- FAA Power plant certification considered an asset.
