Position Summary
The Executive Recruiting Leader will lead executive recruiting for StandardAero's most senior and business-critical leadership positions while building and establishing a dedicated executive recruiting function for the enterprise.
Partnering directly with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Human Resources leadership, this individual will personally execute high-impact executive searches while developing the strategy, processes, tools, and talent pipelines needed to create a sustainable internal executive search capability.
This highly visible role requires a hands-on executive search professional with the business acumen, executive presence, and entrepreneurial mindset to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while building a best-in-class executive recruiting function.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle executive searches for ELT, SLT, and other critical senior leadership positions across all business sectors and corporate functions.
- Partner with the CEO, CHRO, and senior leaders to understand business priorities, define leadership requirements, and develop effective search strategies.
- Build and establish StandardAero's executive recruiting function, including its operating model, processes, tools, assessment practices, and reporting.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies through talent mapping, competitive intelligence, networking, and direct engagement with executive talent.
- Build long-term external leadership pipelines to support anticipated hiring needs and succession planning.
- Serve as a trusted talent advisor, providing senior leaders with market intelligence, candidate assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead executive candidate evaluation, selection, and offer negotiations in partnership with senior stakeholders.
- Establish consistent executive recruiting standards that deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Manage external executive search firm relationships while expanding internal search capabilities and reducing reliance on external partners.
- Establish measures of executive recruiting effectiveness and continuously evolve the function to support business growth and changing leadership needs.
Basic Qualifications
- 7 years of executive search experience within the Aviation / Aerospace industry.
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience building, leading, or transforming executive recruiting functions or capabilities, ideally within a complex global organization.
- Exceptional executive presence and the ability to influence and advise CEOs, CHROs, and senior business leaders.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate organizational strategy into executive talent requirements.
- Advanced executive sourcing, talent mapping, competitive intelligence, and assessment capabilities.
- Proven ability to engage and build relationships with highly sought-after passive executive talent.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance hands-on recruiting with building scalable processes and capabilities.
- Excellent communication, relationship management, judgment, and discretion.
