GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
The Field Executive serves as a key leadership position within Stancil’s Commercial Division, responsible for overseeing field execution and driving performance across all active projects within either the Paint or Drywall scope. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and to Stancil’s high standards of quality.
This person will be accountable for mentoring and developing Superintendents, promoting consistency across jobsites, and reinforcing operational best practices that reflect The Stancil Way. This leader works closely with operations leadership to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that support both project success and team growth.
Performance for this role will be measured through a scorecard system managed by the Director of Operations, focused on operational execution, safety, quality, and team development. In turn, the Field Executive will utilize a similar scorecard framework to evaluate, coach, and hold Superintendents accountable, fostering a culture of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Essential Job Functions
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Superintendents (SUP1-3)
- Ensure consistent implementation of company SOPs, safety, and quality standards
- Conduct weekly site visits to monitor job progress, safety, and cleanliness
- Serve as the bridge between field teams and Project Managers
- Attend and contribute to weekly Commercial Operations L-10 meetings
- Drive scheduling, material coordination, and manpower alignment with Superintendents
- Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and escalate solutions
- Evaluate team performance using scorecard tools and lead structured check-ins
- Collaborate with Director of Operations to meet divisional performance goals
- Developing relationships with subcontractors and initiating the onboarding process
- Other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- 10 years of experience in commercial construction (paint, drywall, or both)
- Prior experience in a Superintendent or senior field leadership role
- Strong scheduling, team leadership, and jobsite logistics knowledge
- Proficiency with field reporting tools (Procore, Bluebeam preferred)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to coach and hold teams accountable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites and client locations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with team members and Builders.
- Maintain company information in a confidential manner.
- Attends work regularly and on time with a minimum of tardiness/absences and adheres to company policies and procedures regarding absences and tardiness. Provides adequate notice to higher management with respect to vacation time and time-off requests.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills, both internally and externally.
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized team.

- Frequent travel required between job sites, client offices, and Stancil Services locations.
- Ability to travel within the Charlotte market and occasionally out of town for client development and networking.
- Role requires clear communication, consistent follow-through, and strong organizational skills to manage opportunities, deadlines, and client interactions.
- Work may involve extended periods of driving, attend industry events, and work in both office and field environments.
