Key Responsibilities
- Full-Month Accounting: Own the month-end closing process, ensuring all journal entries and financial records are accurate.
- AP / AR Management: Oversee invoicing, vendor payments, collections, and expense tracking.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain ledger integrity.
- Software Operations: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Procore daily to manage financial data and project tracking.
- Data Management: Organize financial spreadsheets and documentation using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated history managing full-month accounting cycles, AP, AR, and reconciliations.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strict Commute Requirement: Must reside within driving distance of Lubbock, TX for a daily, in-office schedule. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Industry Tools: Prior experience navigating Procore software. Quickbooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite, JobTread
- Cost Accounting: Familiarity with cost accounting, job costing, or construction-related financial tracking.
