As our Research Development Technician, your day will be a dynamic blend of creativity, science, and problem-solving. You'll conduct hands-on research and development, crafting new and improved food products both in a test kitchen and in a production setting. You'll work side-by-side with Production and Quality Assurance teams, ensuring smooth new product rollouts while enhancing flavor, texture, color, and nutritional value. You'll dive into competitive product analysis, refining formulas and optimizing processing, packaging, and distribution methods. Whether you're assisting in food safety regulations, collaborating with our Vice President of Technical Innovation and Culinary Development, or providing support to sales and marketing, every task you tackle will shape the future of food innovation.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Experience as a research coordinator
- Proficiency with computers, including internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, and MS Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
