As a Night Shift Food Equipment Maintenance Tech, you will begin by receiving written work orders or verbal instructions from your supervisor. You will spend most of your shift setting up, breaking down, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic food processing equipment, including packaging machines, injectors, slicers, tumblers, and metal detectors. You will also handle building maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing and electrical systems and replacing worn or defective parts like switches, fuses, belts, hoses, and wiring. Preventive maintenance will be a routine part of your responsibilities, and you will document each task accurately and promptly. In addition to your primary duties, you may assist other maintenance team members when needed.
YOUR SCHEDULE
This is a
full-time night shift position, scheduled
Monday through Friday, from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with overtime as needed.

Requirements For An Night Shift Food Equipment Maintenance Tech
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience with food processing equipment
- 1 year(s) of experience in a maintenance department
- Strong electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Ability to work with relays, centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps, as well as wiring and mechanical parts
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in cold, noisy, or tight spaces
- Willingness to follow safety rules and work as part of a team
