YOUR ROLE
This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2 PM to 10 PM
- Frequent overtime available as needed
As our 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician, your role is critical in ensuring that our company continuously produces high-quality products. You'll be actively involved in every aspect of the quality process, from handling U.S.D.A. and S.S.O.P documentation to conducting tests on our products, including seasonings, batter, breading, and marinades. You'll pull products off the line to ensure that weight, length, and thickness meet customer specifications and perform hourly metal detection checks to maintain product integrity. You'll be part of the team ensuring that GMP practices are followed and help train new QC Technicians to ensure seamless operations.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with computers
- Adherence to quality and safety guidelines
- Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs in a cold, loud, and fast-moving production environment
- Basic math skills with the ability to use a calculator to determine percentages and averages
- Great communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Team player
Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required for this 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician position.
