Class A CDL Driver (Local Route)
Location: El Paso, TX – Sunland Park, NM
Where You'll Drive
This is a local driving position operating between El Paso, Texas and Sunland Park, New Mexico.
Schedule
- Typically 5 days per week Monday- Friday
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely transport finished goods and raw materials in refrigerated tractor-trailers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
- Document and maintain accurate logs of driving time, rest periods, mileage, fuel purchases, and toll receipts.
- Comply with all applicable DOT regulations, including size, weight, route, parking, and hours-of-service requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trailers into loading and unloading positions as needed. (Trailers are preloaded and located in the company yard or at the shipper.)
- Collect, verify, and follow delivery instructions.
- Promptly report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Class A tractor-trailer (OTR) driving experience.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
