The Human Resource Representative serves as a liaison and knowledge source between the corporate Human Resource department and the Field office staff and management. This position is responsible for facilitating the company-wide new-hire screening and pre-boarding process for Field personnel and providing HR representative support across the company.

- Is responsible for new employee screening, processing, and hiring
- Ensures data accuracy and troubleshoots system issues as needed
- Serves as a liaison between the Human Resources department and Field offices and provides general support to Field office staff and management
- Assists in training field office staff on the company’s pre-hire and new hire procedures to ensure company-wide compliance
- Directs and responds to (if appropriate) employee questions regarding HR matters
- Assists with the implementation, enforcement, and communication of HR policies and services
- Assists in the generation of HR reports and metrics
- Coordinates the collection of information requested for unemployment claims
- Ensures I-9 compliance by adhering to deadlines for E-Verify
- May assist in investigating and responding to issues concerning, but not limited to: Federal and state discrimination charges, disciplinary actions, working environment, and employee benefits/insurance
- May assist in employee relations issues and matters
- Participates in special projects that enable the Human Resources department to contribute to the realization of company goals
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in various HR activities related to company acquisition and due diligence as needed
- Assists in development and updating of company’s HR policies and procedures
- Serves as a liaison between internal (field management) and external (customers and regulatory bodies) regarding drug screening activities
- Must demonstrate discretion, professionalism and a strong ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Must have ability to process multiple priorities simultaneously and proactively seek guidance when priority clarification is needed
- Excellent customer service skills and orientation
- Must be process and procedure orientated in their approach to organization in order to handle large volumes of work consistently
- Must be proficient in Microsoft application suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ADP experience preferred or similar HCM system.
- Very effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be successful in working with limited supervision
- HR or related bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of HR experience preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus, not required
