We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a skilled Machinist. Our machining operation features exceptional capabilities including a full range of manual and CNC machines including gear-cutting, lathes, mills, lasers and other CNC equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with engineers to transform their designs into high quality finished products. This role is vital in achieving our goal of delivering Perfect Parts on Time.

Role and Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints
• Evaluate and comprehend engineering information provided
• Set-up and operate machine tools per direction
• Use precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges to measure parts throughout the machining process to ensure conformity to specifications
• Check output for quality assurance
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary adjustments such as offsets to produce the end product
• Check machinery on a daily basis to ensure they are functioning properly
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Formal machining training or hands-on experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of safety protocols
