Deburr Tech/Production Worker

Summary: Stainless Motors, Inc. is an innovative, growing manufacturer of stainless steel electric motors and gear reducers used in leading food, pharmaceutical, and specialty industrial companies. We are seeking for an experienced Deburr Technician to help in our manufacturing facility. This is a full time position with year round work that provides opportunity for growth and advancement.   

Responsibilities Include:

• Trim, scrape, or deburr objects or parts using hand tools
• Deburr, grind, sand, clean, and polish stainless steel components to provide fine line finish using hand/power tools
• File grooved, contoured and irregular surfaces of metal objects, such as machine parts
• Verify quality of finished workpieces
• Wash, dry, mark and bag parts
• Keep a safe and organized work area

Full time, permanent position
Hours: 7:00a.m. - 3:30p.m.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Attention to detail
• Possess high quality workmanship
• Willingness to learn and recognize inventory of parts used
• Have general knowledge of hand and power tools
• Able to follow written and oral instructions
• Reliable transportation required

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Math requirement – Ability to add and subtract fractions
• 2 years of Deburr/Grinding/Finishing experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
