Summary: Social Media Online Marketing Rep
Combine marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance the Rogers Group social and digital media presence, including interacting with customers, promoting brand focused interactive and engaging content and expanding opportunities for revenue. Partners with other members of the Marketing and Sales team members to create innovative social media campaigns and monitor online activities and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Work with the Vice President of Sales to develop and implement social media strategies to support the marketing plan and achieve growth target.
- Works with other members of the Marketing Team to develop programs, content and expansion of our communication efforts into the various market segments.
- Understanding of digital marketing, search engine optimization and how social media impacts them.
- Develop and execute the social media and online strategy of the division.
- Engage with customers through social media and online activities
- Independently organize time for maximum results at the least cost.
- Familiarity with PPC Advertising, running program and A/B Testing Practices
- Keeping current on advances with social media technologies and the latest on social media platforms
- Continue research into the latest marketing trends and tools to capitalize on those trends
- Grow the number of followers on all social media platforms and expand brand awareness.
- Ensure that the approaches to each of the social media platforms are relevant and appropriate for that medium.
- Monitoring social media for customers comments both the positive and negative to create positive customer experience and positive PR opportunities.
- Provide reporting to the Vice President of Sales to show the status of the budget and return on investment.
- Work with the other Marketing Team Members to expand the impact of other campaigns with the support of social media.
- Develop content calendar across all social media platforms and execute plans.
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation programs.
- Evaluate business opportunities in terms of customer discussions and relay them to the appropriate person in the company.
- Attend, work and staff Trade shows as appropriate (travel may be required).
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology or English. Experience in social media platforms and management of social media activities for a similar type of company. Strong understanding of content management systems.
OR-
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology or English. Must possess at least 1 year in social media management, digital marketing and social medial platforms with an emphasis in marketing content creation, web design and strategy and data collection on website analytics.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language.
- Associate must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Agility of the upper and lower body extremities with the ability to reach, crouch, kneel, or stoop.
- Capable of lifting 35 pounds without assistance.

The manufacturing environment is active and fast-paced, with fabrication and production operating throughout the day. Expect a mix of physical activity and equipment use, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts to move materials and keep operations flowing.
