Job Overview
Stage Right Theatrical Institute is seeking experienced, passionate dance educators to join our team for Fall 2026 as we expand into a pre-professional conservatory training model.
We are building a high-level program for young performers (ages 8-17) focused on developing well-rounded, technically strong & confident triple threat artists. Our students train in an environment that reflects the expectations & standards of the professional industry, with opportunities to work alongside Broadway directors, casting professionals & NYC-based creatives.
We are currently hiring instructors in the following styles:
- Tap
- Musical Theatre Jazz (beginner & advanced)
- Lyrical
- Turns & Leaps / Technique
- Fitness for Dancers / Conditioning
Position Overview:
Instructors will lead weekly classes designed to challenge & elevate students at varying levels with a focus on strong technique, performance quality & discipline. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing, high-caliber program with a clear vision for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- teach weekly classes in your speciality area
- create structured, level-appropriate lesson plans
- build strong technical foundations while encouraging artistry & performance
- maintain a professional, positive & focused classroom environment
- collaborate with Stage Right team on student growth & program development
Qualifications:
- strong background in dance training and/or professional performance
- teaching experience with children & pre-teens/teens (ages 8-17)
- ability to lead with both structure & encouragement
- alignment with a pre-professional, high-expectation training environment
Preferred (but not required):
- professional performance credits
- experience in musical theatre training
- choreography experience
Schedule:
Classes will run Monday-Thursday afternoons & evenings as part of our fall programming.
