Duties
- Assist the primary mover or team leader in loading, unloading, and transporting furniture and staging items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies and furniture dollies.
- Ensure all items are handled carefully to prevent damage during loading, transit, and placement within the home.
- Support with heavy lifting tasks, including moving large furniture pieces and décor items safely and efficiently.
- Help set up staging layouts according to project specifications, ensuring each piece is positioned correctly for maximum visual appeal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools, equipment, and staging materials after each project.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate route driving, timing, and specific client requests for each project.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is desirable but not required.
- Tech-savvy to work with inventory tracking system.
- Valid driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles; familiarity with route driving.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during furniture moves or setup tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work on your feet for extended periods while maintaining safety standards.
