Peace of Mind Designs has offered award-winning luxury staging, interior design, and remodeling services for nearly two decades. We are growing fast and need assistance to support our home staging business in the north coast San Diego area. Come help us sell luxury homes by making them look beautiful.

Type of Job We Are Looking For:

We are currently looking for someone to fill a position as Part-Time Staging Assistant. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Responsible for assisting with home stagings for both Vacant and Owner-occupied homes, which requires the following:

- Assisting our Lead Stagers on their projects with physical staging support including packing and unpacking of accessories and furnishings, steaming beds, touching up furniture, cleaning furniture, taking down window treatments, patch and paint, errands, and furniture placement, art placement and accessorizing

- Helping Lead Stagers with walk throughs of the home to take measurements, space planning, taking photos/videos of rooms to be staged, determining the appropriate amount of art, pillows, lamps, bedding, accessories etc. that is required for each room and the spaces we are staging.

- Helping to choose the appropriate furniture from our inventory that matches the style and price point of the home.

- Helping to select accessories, bedding, pillows, art, trees, etc. to create beautiful rooms and blend with the style of the home.

- Working with our moving team to set furniture on staging day.

- Collaborating with our Design team to complete each Stage in a timely and professional manner.

- Responsible for accessorizing, making & steaming bedding, placing pillows, art, trees, lamps etc. to make each and every room look cohesive and stunning.

Other Job Responsibilities Include:

- Warehouse support (organization projects, inventory management, recommendations on efficiency, etc..)

- Administrative Support (Utilizing our inventory software program to manage/create staging projects and Inventory, Furniture lists of our inventory staged at the property, before, after and inventory photos, inspections, Statement of Condition of the house, keeping track of follow up items, and other administrative tasks, etc.)

- We require you to have reliable transportation (that you may have to transport inventory with), a phone with unlimited texting capabilities, access to a computer or laptop.

- This position can be physically demanding. You must have the ability to climb tall ladders in our warehouse, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. You will be on your feet for much of an 8 hour day and climb stairs within the home frequently.

- Please plan to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes on the job at all times and the dress is “business casual” (jeans must be dressy and no shorts). Some homeowners and real estate agents show up when we are working, so dress appropriately.

- Other miscellaneous staging, design, and administrative tasks as needed.

** IMPORTANT: To qualify, you must send a resume along with photos of any prior work done that were solely your own designs.

Pay rate: $20/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Part-time, 15-30 Hours per week. Our work is seasonal, so hours can be more or less throughout the year.
