We are a growing company located in Gahanna committed to excellence, teamwork, and innovation. We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist who will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Paycor, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payrolls for all employees using Paychex and/or Paycor platforms
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Verify timesheets, deductions, and benefits contributions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports
- Respond promptly to employee payroll inquiries
- Assist with year-end payroll activities as needed
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of payroll processing experience (multi-state experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Paycor & Paychex payroll systems required.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
