We are looking for a highly organized, execution focused Financial professional for a global high-tech company to help drive financial rigor, budget governance, and continuous improvement across the growing Cybersecurity & Digital Risk Management (CDRM) organization. In this role, you will be a central point of accountability for financial operations across a portfolio of programs, strategic partners, and delivery engagements, ensuring spend is tracked accurately, commitments are managed through disciplined budget and vendor cost control, risks to the plan are identified early, and leaders have clear visibility into financial performance, forecast, and outcomes.
This is a 12 month contract (possible extensions), 40 hours per week, hybrid role based in Reston, VA or Houston, TX.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities
- Govern the budget: establish cadences and frameworks to keep CDRM spend, forecasts, and program budgets accountable.
- Ensure clear ownership, decision making, and escalation paths for financial commitments.
- Drive transparency and consistency in budget tracking and reporting.
- Define, monitor, and report on budget vs. actuals, forecast accuracy, accruals, and key financial metrics.
- Identify emerging cost risks, variances, and funding gaps before they impact the plan.
- Track program and vendor spend against approved SOWs, POs, and contracted outcomes; drive corrective action when spend falls outside plan.
- Build trusted relationships with senior CDRM leaders, Finance, Procurement, and delivery partners.
- Partner with Procurement and Finance to process requisitions, POs, invoices, and accruals accurately and on time.
- Support annual budget cycles, long term planning (LTP), quarterly forecasts, and funding requests.
- Consolidate spend data to support decisions, optimize allocation, and improve forecast quality.
- Manage financial risks, issues, and dependencies across initiatives and reporting deadlines.
- 6 years of experience in FP&A, business operations, or program finance, ideally supporting technology, IT, or cybersecurity functions.
- Proven track record managing budgets, forecasts, vendor/SOW spend, and PO/invoice lifecycles in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with SAP, Ariba, and BI tools (Power BI).
- Highly organized and detail oriented, with a track record of bringing order to complexity.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate financial detail into executive ready insight.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
