We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer for our global client. You will provide first level support for all end-users. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues. Escalate calls when appropriate. Write concise, informative tickets. Follow up on all tickets in a timely manner and follow through to resolution.
This is a 40-hour per week, 24-month contract (possible extension), 100% onsite role in Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: 2nd shift, local time (4:00 PM 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday),

Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device issues.
- Support deskside and remote users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices.
- Log, track, and update incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.
- Deliver excellent customer service while responding to user requests in a timely manner.
- Assist with software installations, system upgrades, and user account support.
- Support voice/data communication systems and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes and end-user experience.
- 6 years of experience in using ticketing systems, writing technical support documentation and computer proficiency with hardware and software technologies is required.
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Prior customer service, call center or help desk experience is required.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure are required.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours when appropriate.
