Role: Senior QA Manual Automation Engineer (50/50)
Duration: 6 months contract possible extension
Location: Mesa, AZ-- Hybrid (2 days onsite – Monday & Wednesday mandatory)--Need LOCAL candidate
This is a contract opportunity for an experienced QA professional who can contribute across both manual and automation testing in an Agile environment, ensuring high-quality delivery of enterprise-grade web applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases, test plans, and test procedures
- Perform manual and automated testing for new and existing applications
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, UI, API, and performance testing
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts
- Identify, analyze, and report defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and iterative release cycles
- Collaborate with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
- Maintain test documentation, metrics, and reporting dashboards
- Analyze automation failures and update scripts as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of QA experience in web-based applications
- Strong experience testing .NET applications, Web APIs, and Windows Services
- Hands-on experience in UI and API testing
- Strong automation experience using Selenium WebDriver (C#) and/or Playwright
- Experience with Azure DevOps / TFS
- Strong SQL skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Technical Skills
- C# programming for automation frameworks
- Experience in Windows-based environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps integrations
- Exposure to performance testing of services
- Strong understanding of .NET ecosystem
Interview Process
- Virtual technical screening (1 hour)
- In-person interview in Mesa, AZ (mandatory for shortlisted candidates)
