Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing technology team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Terraform, and DevOps practices, with a passion for automation, cloud-native technologies, and operational excellence.
This role will work closely with application development, security, and platform teams to ensure cloud environments are optimized for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services within Microsoft Azure.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Administer and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments, including deployment, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows utilizing Argo CD.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing application environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization using observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Implement cloud security, governance, compliance, and access management best practices.
- Support modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications to cloud-native architectures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues across multiple environments.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure application availability and uptime.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards.
- Provide production support and incident resolution as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Git and source control best practices.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls.
- Experience supporting web applications, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
- Knowledge of high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and operational tooling.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Argo CD and GitOps deployment methodologies.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure Policy and cloud governance frameworks.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
- Familiarity with React and .NET application environments from an infrastructure support perspective.
