Staffworks is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales Account Manager to manage and grow customer accounts while supporting sales, marketing, and customer service objectives. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and achieving measurable results.
Compensation:
Base Salary - $45,000
Uncapped commission (Performance-Based)
On-Target Earnings (OTE) $85,000
Schedule: Hours Mon- Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, grow, and manage existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.
- Promote and support the sale of fiber optic cable and related products.
- Maintain a strong understanding of products, applications, and industry trends.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor order backlog, customer demand, and delivery commitments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives, operations, customer service, and other internal teams.
- Travel as needed for customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events; complete timely trip reports.
- Support reporting requirements and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies that enhance customer experience and business performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in a competitive manufacturing environment.
- Fiber optic cable industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop business, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and lead team contributors.
- International business experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting, and customer relationship management best practices preferred.
