Plant Controller
Location: Utica, NY (On-site)
Salary: $115,000–$140,000 Bonus Opportunity
Join a growing manufacturer of advanced liquid cooling components as our Plant Controller. This hands-on leadership role partners directly with the Plant Director to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the facility.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence key business decisions, support operational growth, and help shape the financial strategy of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, inventory, scrap, and productivity.
- Prepare financial forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Oversee standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve profitability and support capital investments.
- Provide financial insight to support business growth and operational performance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Manufacturing finance experience in cost accounting, plant controlling, or FP&A.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on, operational approach with the ability to partner effectively with plant leadership.
Preferred
- CPA, CMA, or MBA.
- Experience with ERP systems and standard costing.
- Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing exposure.
