What are the responsibilities and job description for the Batchmaker position at Staffworks?
Batch Operator
Pay: $20.00/hr
Monday – Thursday 7:00AM to 5:30PM
Batch Operator Job Duties:
- Monitor the mixing process, making adjustments as needed to ensure consistency and quality.
- Operate and maintain equipment like mixers, blenders, and ovens to blend and heat ingredients.
- Accurately measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes and production orders.
- Adhere to established safety and quality standards, as well as production schedules and quotas.
- Record batch numbers, ingredient quantities, and product weight.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Collect and test samples for quality control purposes.
- Report any leaks, spills, or issues to management.
Batch Operator Qualifications:
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
- General knowledge of products and chemicals used in the manufacturing process.
- Understanding of safety procedures and required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively, stand for long period of time
- Ability to read and understand English is required
