3rd Shift Production Technician
Job Summary:
The Harline Automation Technician position will be responsible for day-to-day operational capability of Hardline Automation Machine 1 and 2. The Hardline Automation Technician will oversee maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and be responsible for communicating and escalating needs to cross-functional teams for support. The Hardline Automation Technician will be responsible for ensuring both machines remain operational and are up to date for updates and preventive maintenance. This role will incorporate a complex set of varied and technical skills to ensure safe and efficient operation for all employees and affected employees. Demonstrable training, experience, and familiarization with robotic systems, camera vision systems, and automated assembly methods are required.
Sunday – Thursday 11pm – 7am
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $17.00-$18.00 per hour with a 10% differential for second shift. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

You will make a difference in the following ways:
1. Arrives approximately 20 minutes prior to start of assigned shift and receives daily activity report from Assembly Manager/Technician Manager outlining the goals and priorities for the day.
2. Coordinates with previous shift Automation Technician to discuss any quality and/or production issues.
3. Technician will be required to have operational and mechanical knowledge of production machines as well as keeping up on their daily duties as outlined.
4. Ensures safety of the team to include the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment, safe handling of materials and proper use of tools.
5. Works directly with Engineering to schedule maintenance and be flexible to change gears at any given time based on production needs.
6. Coordinates machine change overs with Section and/or Team Leads.
7. Ensures team members can properly perform assigned operation and follows the appropriate quality checks. Provides on-the-job training as needed to ensure quality production.
8. Reports substandard performance to the Assembly Manager/Supervisor/Manufacturing Engineering Team
9. Enforces housekeeping standards/5S and ensures work centers and floors are clean of all debris.
10. Encourages teamwork and leads by example.
11. Performs all other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
Education & Experience:
· High School diploma or GED.
· One year of relatable experience.
Knowledge:
· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
· General computer skills
· Basic mathematical knowledge
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team within a culturally diverse workplace.
· Mechanical knowledge; use of hand tools
