What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operators position at Staffworks?
Temporary Production Operators
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am.-2:30pm.
Production Job Description:
Taking plastic spools by hand and removing labels from them with a scraper blade, will bring the spools to the grinder area
Set up a racking system to feed an air induced nozzle to grind material
Place full spools on racks and removing spools that are empty from the racks
Maintain Lot# and Batch #'s to run identical batches for quality control
Placing pieces of firewood in bags and placing them on a pallet
Production Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Standing 8 hours a day
Moving, bending, twisting, at the job throughout the day
MUST be available to work at other locations in Herkimer and Ilion
MUST have a valid driver license- (no permit)
