Residential/Commercial Plumbing Mechanic (Journeyman)

Staffworks Group is hiring in Westbrook, ME and nearby communities.

• Can you rough-in a 3-inch DWV like it’s second nature?
• Are you fluent in PEX water distribution and PVC venting—and serious about code compliance?
• Do you read blueprints and specs with confidence and work well alongside GCs and other trades?
• Do you take pride in clean, safe, customer-focused work delivered on schedule?

• Location: Westbrook, Maine surrounding areas
• Employment: Full-Time
• Compensation: $45.00–$50.00 per hour (DOE)

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across residential and commercial sites.
• Perform rough-in installations for 3-inch drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems.
• Install PEX distribution and PVC venting per applicable codes.
• Read, interpret, and execute from blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Validate that all work meets local, state, and national plumbing codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and trade partners to hit milestones.
• Diagnose issues and implement practical fixes.
• Keep the job site organized, safe, and debris-free.

• Journeyman Plumber License (required)
• OSHA 10 certification (required)
• Hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing installations
• Ability to work independently with a focus on quality workmanship
• Strong customer service mindset and safety-first approach
