Drywall Hangers – East Hartford, CT
Pay: $22–$25 per hour DOE
Location: East Hartford, CT
Project Duration: 6–7 months
Project: Commercial drywall and painting
We’re looking for experienced Drywall Hangers to join a commercial project in East Hartford. This is a 6–7 month opportunity for reliable drywall professionals who are comfortable working efficiently as part of a crew.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Hanging drywall on walls and ceilings
- Working with RC Channel (resilient channel)
- Hanging approximately 40 sheets of wall drywall per day
- Hanging approximately 32 sheets of ceiling drywall per day, typically 4' x 12' sheets
- Working safely on stilts
- Lifting and moving large sheets of drywall
- Keeping up with the pace of the job while maintaining good quality
- Following basic jobsite safety requirements and working well with the crew
What We’re Looking For:
- Commercial drywall hanging experience
- Comfortable working on stilts
- Able to lift and handle large sheets of drywall
- Reliable and able to commit to the 6–7-month project
- Able to work efficiently in a production environment
- Good English communication skills
- RC Channel experience is a plus
