Staffworks Group is hiring an experienced Connecticut Licensed Journeyman Electrician for a large-scale commercial building project in Waterbury, Connecticut. This full-time opportunity pays $45 per hour and is available immediately.
Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening, including THC testing.
Job Responsibilities
- Bend, install, and secure EMT conduit accurately and efficiently.
- Install commercial electrical wiring, raceways, panels, devices, and equipment.
- Pull wire, make terminations, and install lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform work in compliance with the National Electrical Code, Connecticut regulations, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades on a large commercial construction site.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Journeyperson Electrician E-2 license required.
- Demonstrated commercial electrical construction experience.
- Strong conduit-bending skills, including experience bending EMT.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical plans.
- Reliable transportation and appropriate electrician hand tools.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of a commercial construction environment.
