Staffworks Group is Hiring Immediately: Full-Time Industrial Painter – Providence, RI – $25–$30/hr
Staffworks Group has an immediate opening for a skilled Industrial Painter to join our growing fabrication and welding team in Providence, Rhode Island. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience ($25–$30/hr). If you have strong painting and spray-painting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, coat, and finish steel components in a fabrication and welding shop.
- Perform surface preparation including cleaning, degreasing, sandblasting/abrasive blasting, grinding, and power tool cleaning.
- Apply industrial coatings and spray finishes to meet durability, quality, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and shop foremen to ensure high-quality production.
- Ensure all painted surfaces meet aesthetic, corrosion resistance, and wear protection standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial painting and spray painting is required.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applications.
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures and technical instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
