Staffworks Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Apprentice Plumber with experience or interest in rough plumbing, drain systems, pipe installation, and construction plumbing work. This position offers valuable experience working with cast iron pipe systems, drainage installations, and rough-to-finish plumbing projects.
Apprentice Plumber Responsibilities
- Install cast iron pipe systems for Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) plumbing systems
- Cut heavy pipe materials to required measurements and specifications
- Secure piping using appropriate hangers and support systems
- Join pipe sections using hubless and compression gaskets
- Assist with rough-to-finish plumbing installations
- Support installation and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Follow plumbing codes and construction site safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid New Hampshire Apprentice Plumber Card
- Ability to work with cast iron piping and plumbing materials
- Understanding of plumbing tools, installation techniques, and safety procedures preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform physical work, lift materials, and work on active construction sites
