Our client is seeking an experienced individual to design, develop, code, test, debug and assist in the ongoing support of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications, customizations, and bug fixes. This individual will be working on a variety of applications in the areas of sales order, inventory, advance pricing, forecasting, demand planning, purchasing manufacturing and finance.
Technical requirements include systems analysis, application design, application programming, testing, problem resolution, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to change, take initiative, and work independently and in a team environment.
JDE Development
- Ability to provide technical hands-on development and support for key applications like: Distribution, Financials, Manufacturing, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Transportation, and WMS.
- Experience in analyzing and researching standard E1 functionality and comparing with current or new requirements.
- Experience creating or enhancing JDE EnterpriseOne Applications, UBEs, Tables, Business Views, Templates, Data Structures, and Versions.
- Experience developing and designing applications with NER – Named Event Rules, JDE Design ToolSets, ERW, OMW, etc.
- Experience working with C or C creating and making modifications to Business Rules and Functions is preferred.
- Experience integrating JD Edwards with other 3rd party applications is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with APIs and writing micro-services is preferred.
- Experience with AS400 \ RPG development is a huge plus.
- EDI Experience is a plus.
- JDE Orchestrator Studio experience is a plus.
AS400 / RPG Development (Nice to Have)
- Extensive Knowledge of OS400, CL, RPG (including IV and Free-Format), ILE, MQ Series, SQL
- Ability to architect and improve legacy custom AS400 RPG solutions. We have many RPG programs that live outside of JD Edwards that use JD Edwards data.
Functional Knowledge
- Familiarity with JDE Enterprise One in Manufacturing/Distribution Environment
- Functional skills supporting Inventory management, WMS, sales order management, MRP, work orders, production planning and scheduling etc…
- Working knowledge of the JDE E1 application and functionality from a business perspective.
- Ability to drive design with the business analyst and business user.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work/school experience.
- 10 years of IT experience.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working within a manufacturing/distribution organization and with iSeries (AS400, System/iSeries).
- Proficient knowledge of JDE E1 9.X with upgrade or implementation experience
- Proficient knowledge of JDE E1 Development Tools, C BSFN’s, NER’s, Interoperability, Z Tables, JDE EDI, Power Forms, BSSV’s and ADF Framework.
- Proficient knowledge and experience working with OMW, BI Publisher and Batch Scheduling tools
- Experience and knowledge of JDE E1 business process functionality in at multiple areas (Finance, Development, SOM, or Manufacturing) understanding of the process integration touchpoints
- Proven track record for delivering multiple concurrent tasks end-to-end to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to link business needs to technical solutions
- Proficiency in JDE E1 data table structure.
- Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills
- Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
