Responsible for supporting various marketing activities under the guidance of senior team members. Primary duties will include conducting market research, assisting in the development of marketing campaigns, updating social media accounts, and analyzing campaign performance metrics. Works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
The hiring range for this position is $23.60/hour to $32.45/hour based on experience.
The full salary range for this position is $23.60/hour to $41.30/hour to provide opportunity for growth and development.
- Assists the department in marketing efforts, including advertising initiatives and administrative duties;
- Conducts market research and analyzes trends to support department initiatives;
- Updates social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube;
- Assists in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and website content;
- Supports event planning and execution for outreach activities;
- Compiles and maintains statistical information related to events;
- Assists with writing, editing, and managing content for marketing websites and collateral;
- Attends various marketing events and meetings;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles, branding strategies, and communication techniques;
- Understanding of digital marketing analytics and performance measurement tools;
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media management platforms, including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and similar applications;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to support multiple projects with appropriate guidance;
- Excellent written, verbal, editing, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to assist in creating written and visual content for diverse audiences;
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities and market trends;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and travel to meetings, events, and promotional activities as needed.
A combination of education and experience equivalent to high school and two (2) years of marketing or communications experience, or associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience in managing marketing campaigns from planning through execution and with digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and analytics platforms is preferred.
