About the role
The Site Director is SCC’s on-site lead responsible for day-to-day execution and overall performance of the MCC Contracts and Grants Management (CGM) acquisition support team. This key personnel role is the Government’s primary interface for contractor supervision and performance reporting, and is accountable for quality/compliance, timeliness to MCC Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) standards, and equitable utilization of the contractor team.
Core responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact to the MCC COR and Project Monitors; provide supervision and managerial representation for the contractor team and ensure continuity through a designated backup.
Assign, schedule, and track work across the team; monitor progress against PALT and Government-identified priorities; identify risks early and coordinate corrective actions.
Implement quality assurance/quality control practices to drive first-pass acceptance of acquisition work products and maintain audit-ready files.
Manage team utilization (avoid sustained over/under-utilization without justification) and rebalance workloads as needed.
Prepare and submit the Monthly Activity Report, to include: quality issues/corrective actions; timeliness vs PALT; utilization/workload distribution; acquisition innovation techniques used; complaints/resolutions; hours/costs by CLIN and funding type; and upcoming leave schedules.
Support surge periods by personally performing senior-level acquisition support (as needed) and coordinating rapid backfill for vacancies in accordance with the recruitment/retention requirements.
Minimum qualifications (required)
Education: Bachelor’s degree AND 24 semester hours in business-related fields (e.g., accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, etc.).
Experience: 10 years of direct Federal contracting experience, including at least 1 year of specialized experience comparable to the GS-15 level.
Ability to obtain/maintain MCC fitness determination (Public Trust) and MCC Photo ID Badge; ability to work in MCC’s tool environment.
Preferred qualifications
FAC-C (Professional) or DAWIA Contracting (Professional) (or comparable NCMA CFCM/CPCM).
Demonstrated leadership managing high-tempo acquisition support teams and delivering measurable improvements in quality, PALT, and customer satisfaction.
Hands-on experience with acquisition innovation techniques (Periodic Table of Acquisition Innovation) and institutionalizing process improvements.
Working proficiency with Oracle CLM (or similar CLM), FPDS, SharePoint, Power BI, G-Invoicing/7600A/7600B, and MS Office.
Salary : $190,000 - $245,000
