Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Warehouse Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Record and track all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare inventory reports and present findings to management.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
