- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding processes
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, squares, and dial calipers
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred
- Blueprint and AWS welding symbol interpretation preferred
- Perform MIG and TIG welding with minimal supervision
- Set up welding equipment according to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Produce weldments that meet AWS standards and engineering requirements
- Read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Use measuring tools to verify accuracy and quality
- Operate material handling equipment as needed
- Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment
- Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and electric grinders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
