Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures
- Proficient in MIG welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Experience using measuring tools, including calipers, tape measures, and weld gauges
- Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as grinders and cutting torches
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification or technical training is a plus
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
- Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings for production requirements
- Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on welding equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned
