Wabtec Now Hiring for a Tube Machine Operator (Direct Hire)
Location: Yankton, SD
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $30.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to use calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine components
- Set up and operate tube manufacturing equipment
- Produce and assemble finished tube components
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform light machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures
- Operate RTTS and aluminum tube machines
- Assist with training team members as needed
- Support other production departments when qualified
- Maintain accurate production records
- Travel domestically or internationally when required for projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand for extended periods on concrete floors
- Work in warm manufacturing environments, especially during summer months
- Handle paints, oils, solvents, and industrial materials safely
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for production work
