Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
- Overtime may be required during the week and/or Saturdays

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, machining certificate, or CNC programming education preferred.
- CNC / Machine Tool Technology (or equivalent) degree or certificate (Preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of CNC lathe machining experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to hold tolerances to .001
- CNC programming and Wire EDM experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and tool room equipment
- Manufacture, repair, and maintain tooling components
- Read blueprints, routers, and work instructions
- Perform precision measurements and quality inspections
- Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Follow safety procedures and documented processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, or multi-axis equipment is preferred.
- Experience editing CNC programs, setting tooling offsets, and performing machine setups is beneficial.
- Familiarity with G-code, CAD/CAM software, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, continuous learning, and commitment to precision manufacturing are well positioned for success as a Tool Room Machinist.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around machining equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, tooling, and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate CNC machinery and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
- Ability to lift pounds.
