Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineers, operators, and other toolmakers to maintain and improve production tooling
- Grind, fit, assemble, and repair dies with a high level of precision
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and make adjustments to restore optimal performance
- Read and interpret blueprints, tooling layouts, and specifications
- Improve existing dies to increase uptime and efficiency
- Support the build and development of new tooling
Requirements:
- Proven experience with highspeed progressive dies in a manufacturing environment
- Strong surface grinding, tool fitting, and precision measurement skills
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work on the first shift
- High School Diploma or GED. Technical degree a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
