- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), customer billing, cash applications, and collections activities
- Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 30 employees and administer 401(k) contributions through ADP
- Monitor daily cash activity, bank transactions, and treasury functions
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Generate basic financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
- Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Equivalent accounting experience will be considered
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems required
- 4 years of accounting experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Full-Charge Bookkeeper role
- Previous experience working in a small business environment (under 50 employees)
- Experience processing payroll through ADP Workforce Now
- Experience managing weekly payroll and 401(k) administration
- Proven ability to independently run a one-person accounting department
- Experience with ProfitKey ERP strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive data entry and keyboard tasks
- Must be able to work scheduled hours and meet month-end deadlines
- No lifting requirements
