Job Duties
- Operate and monitor equipment to produce high-quality optical and electro-optical products for medical applications.
- Prepare raw materials and maintain controlled process parameters to ensure quality and consistency of products.
- Perform inspections, measurements, and documentation in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Follow detailed work instructions, cleanroom practices and strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot process issues and support continuous process improvements.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing experience.
- Need to have good math skills, and knowledge to read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools
Preferred Qualifications
- An associates degree or two-year technical degree is preferred.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Operator in this role must have, or be able to learn, Windows based computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
