Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners or voice-picking systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and verifying orders
- Ability to follow written instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic counting and inventory skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull cartons and book products throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts
Job Duties:
- Unload incoming cartons and inspect shipments against bills of lading
- Receive, sort, count, and verify book products for inventory and customer orders
- Stock books in designated warehouse locations and replenish inventory as needed
- Pick, verify, and stage customer orders using paper pick lists, RF scanners, or voice-directed systems
- Pack customer orders using appropriate packaging methods to ensure safe shipment
- Inspect products for damage and verify order accuracy before shipping
- Complete quality assurance forms and production documentation as required
- Break down boxes and dispose of packing materials properly
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse using hand carts and pallet jacks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company procedures
