Logistics Support Coordinator | Overnight Operations | On-Site
A large, nationally recognized corporate supply chain organization is seeking aLogistics Support Coordinator to serve as the critical connection between customers, carriers, and internal teams. This overnight, on-site role is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages high volumes of communication with confidence, and excels at keeping shipments and customer relationships on track around the clock.
Hours & Pay
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Overtime: Every other Saturday (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
- Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM for approximately 3 weeks
- Employment Type: Temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Manage and respond to high volumes of email communication daily (up to 300 messages)
- Monitor shipments, schedule deliveries, and resolve issues using logistics and dispatch systems
- Collaborate closely with Sales and internal teams to ensure seamless customer service
- Track orders and deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Troubleshoot and resolve delivery, scheduling, and service issues efficiently
- Build and maintain strong customer and internal relationships
- Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and systems
- Identify cost-effective and creative solutions that support customer needs and business goals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of logistics experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in logistics or customer service
- Previous customer service experience required; logistics or dispatch experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage competing priorities
- Positive attitude with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site
