Here's what it takes to succeed with us.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of accounting experience in construction, distribution, retail, or high-volume transactional environments preferred
- Strong understanding of GL reconciliations, AP/AR, and cash management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage, SAP, Dynamics, or QuickBooks Enterprise
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and account analyses
- Support month-end close and maintain accurate accounting records
- Process AP invoices, vendor reconciliations, and payment support activities
- Manage AR functions including invoicing, cash application, aging review, and customer account maintenance
- Monitor daily deposits, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations
- Research and resolve discrepancies, short-pays, chargebacks, and reconciling items
- Support cash forecasting and maintain strong internal controls
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and vendors to resolve accounting issues
