Every shop needs someone to run the machines - and that's where you come in. As a Granulation Machine Operator, you'll keep production rolling while cashing steady paychecks.
Bring to the Table:
- Diploma or GED (trade creds = bonus points)
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Steel-toes
Responsibilities:
- Operate fluid bed granulators, blenders (Hobart, ribbon, twin-shell), Fitzmills, roller compactors, oscillators, and related equipment.
- Monitor and adjust process controls, including temperatures, airflow, spray rates, dust collection, and nozzle calibration.
- Verify and load raw materials per batch records; complete required two-person sign-offs.
- Perform particle sizing, milling, sieving, and metal detection as needed.
- Weigh final blends and record yields; ensure accurate batch documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality Control on batch record sign-offs and any cGMP issues.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per SOPs.
- Follow all safety procedures; lift materials within OSHA limits.
